Measure Progress Not Activity
When you are planning a project, it is good practice to measure progress against objectives and not just activities. For example if you are installing a new ACD system, you will have a number of key milestones in the project, which are made up by numerous activities. By measuring the progress you will help to ensure you are on track – measuring the activity can sometimes get you bogged down in too much detail!
