Mark: This is my third year at the conferences.

ContactCenterWorld.com: Why do you keep coming back?
Mark: Because of the best practices. I got 4 pages of notes today. Usually you go to a conference and you get one or two good ideas, here you get 60 presentations, tons of great ideas, and I go back and I look like a Superhero because I implement a lot of ideas that I get here and it is really ground breaking in my world, but here, it is just what everybody else is doing, so it is just all about the learning for us.
ContactCenterWorld.com: Pretty all-star cast in there that you have heard from for the past 4 days?
Mark: Oh yeah, when you are competing against large financial institutions or insurance companies, the competition is incredibly fierce. Anyone who wins an award tonite is well deserving.
ContactCenterWorld.com: What you tell somebody that has never been to these or gone through the awards process?
Mark: Well, I would say that even if you are not going to compete, a lot of people don't come because they don't want to go through the essay writing process, or they don't want to do the public speaking, just pay and come and watch. You are going to learn so much from people in your same industry, people in a "like industry" to yours. It is well worth the money to go back and implement so many changes that are going to make your contact center much better than it was.
