How easy is it to set up a workspace/ home office?
Very easy as I am working in IT industry for contact center for years.

What technology / equipment do you need?
Laptop and a secure connection like VPN or Anydesk/ Logmein software and Skype for video calls.

Do you feel people working from home work harder, about the same or less than those working in an office environment
The work is the same, the environment is different.

What advice would you give anyone working from home for the first time and how to adapt?
Try to disconnect from home to-do's and focus only on the work for a couple of hours.

Does working from home affect your quality of life? (i.e. less travel time etc = more leisure time)
Sometimes - if the period is too long.

How does working from home affect your home life? (for example if you have children, partner etc)
It's hard but Work from Home teaches us every day to be good organizers.

Do you feel like a proper employee? i.e. you are at work when working from home?
I feel the same.

When you work in an office and you leave you disconnect from work - literally. If you work at home how easy is it to dis-connect from work?
I disconnect easily at home because I have kids.

How do you stay motivated when working from home?
Keeping up with my colleagues every day on chat/ emails/ calls.

How often does your company check in with you?
When necessary only.

What would you say is the best part of working from home?
Not having to drive all day to work and back - less trafic, less staying and wasting time in the car.

How easy has it been to make the transition and what lessons did you learn along the way?
Very easy - I learned to be more responsable and manager on my own time.

What would you say is the worst part of working from home?
Distractions

Do you feel safer (e.g. don't travel, won't catch viruses from colleagues etc) working from home?
Yes

How do you control distractions at home - for example children, dogs etc.
I organize time in slots to handle kids, cooking and working also. Some days is working and some days I have to understand that it is not - kids are unpredictable.

Do you prefer working from home? Yes/No? Explain why
Yes - but for a short time/ a couple of days.

How do you measure productivity of home based agents and also availability?
By completing my tasks - list of to do's.

How do you ensure security of information?
We have secure connections.

How do you ensure staff work to the same high standards when they are an office?
Everybody is tracking everybody, we are a team.

How do you keep in touch with staff during the day?
We are using calls, video calls, chat groups etc.
