News : 300 New Jobs, Expansion at Call Center
Montgomery, AL, USA, July 23, 3015 -- Less than a month after a global call center company announced a new hub and 500 jobs in Montgomery, a second call center company has announced a major expansion and said it plans to hire 300 more workers here.
Expert Global Solutions has already started hiring for its 4520 Executive Park Drive expansion, adding leadership positions and agents. The company handles inbound and outbound calls and web support for utility companies and others, mostly dealing with financial transactions.
"Montgomery is considered one of the top sites," Deprospo said. He said the expansion happened because strong service by current employees led to more business.
"We’ve got a great employee base out there," he said. "We have longstanding employees who have been here since the very beginning."
The company is spending to upgrade the third floor of its building to support the expanded business. Montgomery Mayor Todd Strange said there are no discretionary incentives attached to the project.
On June 25, international call center company SYKES Enterprises announced a hub in east Montgomery as well as plans to hire 500 people over the next three years. People can apply for those jobs online.
The majority of the new EGS jobs will be full-time, Strange said.
