News : 40 Trained for Medical Transcription
August 19, 2014 -- Forty trainees of the finishing course for medical transcription received their certificates of completion from the Negros Occidental Language and Information Technology Center in Bacolod City during their graduation rites last week.
The 40 graduates, all registered nurses, comprise the fourth and fifth batch of FCMT graduates of NOLITC, a press release from the center said.
Bacolod Councilor Jocelle Batapa-Sigue was graduation speaker.
NOLITC head Dr. Ma. Cristina Orbecido said that all of the graduates have passed the National Competency Assessment Examinations conducted by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority.
The NOLITC continues to provide scholarship slots for deserving applicants in the call center training, medical transcription and 2D Animation courses.
Interested applicants may apply at NOLITC, Paglaum Sports Complex, Bacolod City, the press release said.
