News : 40,000 to 50,000 Jobs to be Created in the ICT Sector
Suva, Fiji, Aug 10, 2016 -- The Government is committed to creating between 40,000 to 50,000 direct jobs as part of its long term vision in the Information and Communication sector.
Minister for Trade Faiyaz Koya revealed this while visiting the call centre Mind Pearl in Nasinu.

Koya says there is more potential in the industry once the international business park is developed by Lyndhurst and the Government’s Manufacturing and Services Zone are fully operational in the next few years.

Fiji has already shown tremendous potential with over 3,000 direct jobs created through the outsourcing operations of ANZ Suva Hub, Centrecom, Pack leader and Mind pearl.
