News : 50 Jobs Created at Domestic and General
Brighton, England, UK, Jan 19, 2015 -- Fifty part-time jobs have been created at Brighton contact centre Domestic and General.
It follows the announcement before Christmas of 110 new full-time jobs at the offices in Queen Square.
Successful applicants will join a 900-strong team with the company looking to fill each vacancy by March 2015.
Recruitment manager Owen Evans said: "These permanent part-time positions are based on flexible working hours and could suit parents returning to work, students, or even retirees who want to continue working but don't want full-time hours."
Part time employees will be expected to work at least three shifts per week, which equates to at least 15 hours.
Contact centre representatives joining the team will be responsible for ensuring new Sky customers are welcomed and offered products best suited to their needs, while existing customers continue to receive excellent customer service.
Owen added: "These roles offer great long-term opportunities in the areas of sales and customer service. While we are looking for applicants with experience in these areas, we do offer full training and provide every opportunity for people to succeed."
All new starters will receive an initial three week training period - in addition to on-going 'on the job' training and coaching, equipping them with the customer service, sales and telephone-based communication skills they will need to work in Domestic and General's fast-paced environment.
