News : 500 Employees Sought for New Call Center
Sept 30, 2014 -- A Roseville consulting and staffing company said that it is looking to hire more than 500 employees to staff a Covered California call center in south Sacramento.
Tim Coxen, president of InSync Consulting Services LLC, said his company is partnering with the state of California and Virginia-based Faneuil, which specializes in customer support services.
Coxen said the local call center, at 7405 Greenhaven Drive, is scheduled to commence operations Nov. 3 and will be charged with handling an expected high volume of calls for Covered California, the state’s health insurance exchange. Covered California’s next open enrollment season for 2015 health coverage begins Nov. 15 and ends Feb. 15, 2015.
Coxen said hiring and training of call center workers for full and part-time jobs will be conducted throughout October. Officials stressed that interviews and hiring will not be done at the Greenhaven call center site, which is located in a former AT&T building.
