South Wales, Oct 7, 2015 -- Employers ranging from retailer Toys R Us to call centre firm Firstsource are looking to take on more than 700 staff in South Wales.
They will be among the 40 employers, which also include Allied Healthcare and Drivers Direct, taking part in the annual Barry and the Vale jobs fair.
The event, which is hosted by Communities First Barry in partnership with Jobcentre Plus, aims to engage with jobseekers throughout the Vale of Glamorgan to support them in getting closer to employment.
Andrew Moseley, head of employer and partnerships for Jobcentre Plus said: "This year’s jobs fair promises to be our biggest and best yet, with over 700 vacancies available.
"It is a great opportunity for people looking for a job to come and find out more about the wide range of vacancies available and meet employers face to face - so come along dressed to impress with your CV".
"Along with the more than 40 employers attending the event, Jobcentre staff will also be holding self employment information sessions throughout the day aimed at younger jobseekers."
