News : A/C maker Daikin Plans Customer Service Center in Vietnam
Osaka, Japan, Aug 17, 2016 -- Japanese air conditioner maker Daikin Industries will establish new offices in Vietnam in 2018 that will serve as a call center and a place for local employees to receive sales training.
The Osaka-based company will spend on the central Ho Chi Minh City facility and relocate its local sales headquarters there.
Trainees will learn the sales pitch for Daikin's low-energy-consumption air conditioners and gain technical skills. The manufacturer expects about 1,000 employees to work there eventually.
Daikin's current Vietnamese sales headquarters is located in a leased building that has become too cramped for a growing business.
