News : Afni to Add 450-plus Jobs in Tucson
April 25, 2014 -- Call-center operator Afni plans to hire more than 450 workers at its Tucson facilities as customer service and sales representatives for web chats, social media responses and phone support.
English-speaking and bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are being sought. Afni is also looking to hire trainers, coaches and operation managers.
Julie Hengemuehler, Afni’s executive director, said the company has grown beyond just phone support in response to customers who use online web chats and social media to get their questions answered or to buy products.
Most of the new jobs will be at Afni’s southeast site, 7810 E. Escalante Road. It has two other sites, 5451 E. Williams Blvd. and 5320 N. La Cholla Blvd.

Afni officials say it offers competitive pay with paid training and performance-based incentives. After training, employees are eligible for benefits including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement savings with a company match, and tuition reimbursement.
