News : Alorica Increases Global Presense In Honduras
Irvine, Calif. (April 7, 2014) -- Alorica, a worldwide provider of customer management outsourcing solutions, announces expansion plans with the opening of a new office in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. The Central America location will support expanding work for an existing client, a provider of television entertainment services. Alorica has plans to grow up to 200 employees in Honduras within the year to support the company’s rapidly growing client base.
"We are confident the expansion into Honduras will greatly benefit Alorica’s current and prospective clients," said Andy Lee, chairman and chief executive officer of Alorica. "The region’s growing economy and skilled, bilingual workforce will help support our offshore expansion plans and our commitment to providing our clients with the very best in business process outsourcing solutions that manage the complete customer lifecycle."
The Honduras office will include the leadership of Shawn Stacy, senior vice president of operations in the Central Region and Brian Jeppesen, divisional vice president of the Central Region. Stacy has more than 21 years of business process outsourcing industry experience and will be responsible for the strategic direction and daily operations of the new location. Assisting Stacy in operational duties is industry veteran, Jeppesen, who is fluent in Spanish and has more than 23 years of call center experience.
Alorica is actively seeking potential candidates local to San Pedro Sula for positions in customer service, support and management. Applicants should have familiarity with computers, be proficient in English and Spanish, 18 years of age or older, and a high school diploma. The company is holding a local career fair next week.
