News : Alorica Opens New Contact Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico
Albuquerque, NM, USA, June 18, 2015 -- Alorica, a provider of customer management outsourcing solutions, announces its plans to hire 200 customer service jobs at its facility in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Company's new contact center location will have the capacity for 800 employees.
At the onset, the majority of hiring will be done in the area of bilingual customer care, with an emphasis on the English and Spanish languages. In addition, Alorica will look to fill operations, supervisory and managerial positions.
"Having such a large operation in Albuquerque is a key asset for Alorica -- both in terms of growing our domestic business and ramping up our ability to provide bilingual customer support," said Art DiBari, Chief Operating Officer at Alorica. "Albuquerque Economic Development helped us select this site based on the very strong local talent pool and huge bilingual presence, and we look forward to leveraging this potential to create hundreds of careers at Alorica."
"We proudly welcome Alorica to New Mexico where they will find some of the most talented and hardworking employees in the country," said Governor Susana Martinez. "We've made our state more competitive for job creators like Alorica to locate here and help diversify the private sector while providing jobs and opportunities for New Mexicans."
Albuquerque's large military presence was also a factor in the new site selection. The latest office opening strategically aligns with the Company's AloriCares employment initiative to support military and service-disabled veterans and their spouses.
"We are always excited to welcome new companies to Albuquerque," said Richard J. Berry, Mayor of Albuquerque. "Our diversity provides a perfect fit for Alorica to find the workforce they need."
"Alorica's expansion to Albuquerque is good news for the metro area. We look forward to the opportunities the company is creating for those seeking employment," said Gary Tonjes, President of Albuquerque Economic Development, Inc. "Their successful expansion into our market creates hundreds of new jobs, and the associated payroll will benefit small businesses and others throughout the community. Alorica's decision to invest in Albuquerque sends a signal to other companies that Albuquerque should be considered for their respective expansions."
The Albuquerque contact center will initially work with a media company customer. Alorica plans to fill another 100 jobs in Q4 of this year when a second customer in the pharmacy industry is added. As Alorica continues to bring new clients to the Albuquerque facility, an additional 500 openings will become available.
