News : Altice to Open Call Centre in Vieira do Minho

Vieira do Minho, Portugal, Jan 27, 2015 -- Altice plans to open a new call centre in Vieira do Minho, Portugal, creating 100-150 jobs. The mayor of the town, Antonio Cardoso told Jornal de Negocios that an agreement should be signed in the coming days. Altice is the owner of cable oeprator Cabovisao and is on track to acquire PT Portugal, the former monopoly operator in Portugal.
Armando Pereira, one of four founding partners of Altice who controls 30 percent of the company, is a native of Guilhofrei in Vieira do Minho. Altice declined to comment on the report.
