News : Aptean Appoints Kim Eaton as Chief Operating Officer
Atlanta, August 6, 2014 -- Aptean announces the appointment of Kim Eaton as Chief Operating Officer. Ms. Eaton will oversee all aspects of Aptean's global operations, including Product Development, Professional Services and Support as well as Training and Education.
Ms. Eaton brings more than 25 years of executive leadership experience in the technology industry, most recently as Senior Vice President and General Manager for NCR Corporation's Hospitality Division.
"Kim Eaton's history of leadership positions with high-growth companies, as well as her long and decorated tenure in the Atlanta technology community makes her the perfect fit to lead Aptean's global operations," said Paul Ilse, Aptean Chief Executive Officer.
Prior to her work at NCR, Ms. Eaton served as Executive Vice President for Marketing at Radiant Systems, Inc., President of BlueCube Software, Inc. and Executive Vice President of Field Operations for RedPrairie Corporation.
Aptean's previous Chief Operating Officer, Kenneth Frank, will move to an executive leadership position in a new company within the portfolio of Aptean's owner, Vista Equity Partners, after an appropriate transition period.
