News : Ascensos Whellie Motivated To Raise Cash For Sport Relief

The team at Ascensos, the contact centre management provider, took part in this year’s cycle challenge for Sport Relief and raised £325.

Ascensos set up two spin bikes in each of its offices in Motherwell, Clydebank and the Isle of Wight. Staff had the chance to go through the gears with each cyclist targeting prizes for the furthest distance travelled.

Each participant had 10 minutes to record their distance and the furthest cycled was 9.7 miles by Daniel McNulty, of the Motherwell office, who won an impressive fitbit device. Maundu Chobe from Clydebank and Michael Mullin from the Isle of Wight both won a day’s annual leave for the furthest distance cycled in their contact centres.

Across its three sites Ascensos travelled a total of 945 miles which, as the crow flies, is the distance between John O’Groats to the contact centre in the Isle of Wight then back up to Loch Lomond.

Ascensos is a contact centre business that manages bespoke and specialised multi-channel customer contact solutions, including social media customer engagement and insights for a range of blue chip retailers.
