Terre Haute, IN, USA, March 23, 2020 -- Rose-Hulman’s AskRose tutoring helpline has added daytime hours to help homebound students with math and science homework during the current coronavirus pandemic.
Many schools moved to an e-learning environment over the past several weeks, leaving students isolated without tutoring resources.
Free homework help is now available Monday through Friday from noon to 3 p.m. ET over the phone, by email or chat session.
AskRose has confirmed that it has found enough student tutors support the new Monday through Friday daytime hours through May.
Evening tutors also are available during the normal AskRose service times: Sunday through Thursday from 7-10 p.m.
Rose-Hulman tutors also are doing remote learning as college students, but are able to continue offering their service from locations throughout the country.
All AskRose services are available at no cost to students or parents through a Lilly Endowment Inc. grant and financial assistance from Rose-Hulman.
