Columbus, OH, USA, Sept 9, 2019 -- Astute announced the addition of Phil Hoey and Dave Butler to their executive team. Hoey will serve as CFO and Butler as VP North America Sales, both reporting to CEO Ray Carey.
Phil Hoey is an accomplished finance executive with more than 25 years of experience achieving revenue growth and scaling private equity-backed businesses. A graduate of the College of William & Mary, his previous financial leadership roles include NBC, AOL, LexisNexis, and most recently Two Labs, an Ohio-based pharmaceutical consulting company. He brings a wealth of experience that will support Astute's ambitious plans for growth. Hoey was attracted to Astute because of the company's entrepreneurial spirit and strong capabilities in improving customer interactions for the world’s most successful brands.
Dave Butler will be leading Astute's North American commercial team, focusing on new customer growth. Before coming to Astute, Butler spent 12 years at NeoNova delivering technology and personnel services to internet service providers, helping to drive customer engagement, service, and support. He brings more than 20 years of sales leadership and specializes in coaching and development. Butler was attracted to Astute because of the opportunity to bring world-class CX software, tools, and expertise to the largest and most progressive brands in North America.
