News : AxisPoint Health Earns URAC Reaccreditation for its Nurse Advice Line
Westminster, CO, USA, Oct 13, 2015 -- AxisPoint Health, a provider of care management services to payers and other risk-bearing entities, announced that it has received Health Call Center reaccreditation from URAC, a provider in quality standards for the healthcare industry, for its Nurse Advice Line, a service providing nurse triage, advisory and advocacy support, and member engagement. Formerly a McKesson company, AxisPoint Health’s nurse advice solutions have been accredited by URAC since 1997.
URAC’s Health Call Center Accreditation process involved a rigorous evaluation of AxisPoint Health’s Nurse Advice Line to verify that registered personnel are performing the clinical aspects of triage and other health information services in a manner that is timely, confidential, and includes medically appropriate care and treatment advice. This accreditation demonstrates AxisPoint Health’s commitment to quality services and to meeting nationally recognized standards.
