News : Azzurri Emerges Following Transformative Year
Walsall, West Midlands, UK, Feb 20, 2015 -- Azzurri Communications is looking forward to 2015 following a period that the unified communications firm described as ‘transformative’.
A restructuring of the business’ finances has allowed the company to plan long term, and the brand received further good news in January following the announcement that the company would be selling EE services alongside the O2 ones it already provides.
Speaking to Mobile, Azzurri’s CTO Rufus Grig, explained how the firm had turned things around: ‘The most important actions were re-structuring the business’ finances, right-sizing our cost base, and the investment in and launch of our cloud platform and ICON managed services portfolio.
The brand also made efficiency savings, which have helped to improve the firm’s financial status, Grig explains: ‘Azzurri is always looking to ensure that we can deliver our services in the most efficient way possible for our customers, and we have been through a series of process-improvement projects, including using Lean and 6 Sigma processes to improve the way we work. The advantage of this process is that as well as improving cost efficiency, it has the benefit of improving service through the speeding up of end-to-end processes and improving quality and right-first-time outcomes.’
‘For 2015 we continue with our goal of connecting our customers with their employees, their customers and their data – particularly focusing on unified communications and contact centre "as a service", enterprise mobility, network security and managed services.’
