News : BahamaGo Booking Portal Integrates with Ministry of Tourism’s Call Center
Freeport, Grand Bahama, Oct 9, 2015 -- The Ministry of Tourism’s Call Center is now ready and equipped to service inter-island travel through a new partnership with Bahamian-operated booking engine BahamaGo.
This new partnership with the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism and BahamaGo has now positioned Call Center agents to facilitate the booking process for both international and domestic travelers.
According to Director for Global Communications in the Ministry of Tourism Andre Miller, this new partnership will "provide more ownership of our consumer experience and will ensure the proper quality assurance to convert the consumer."

BahamaGo will provide a web-based portal for call center agents to utilize the technology and execute domestic travel packaging for air and hotel arrangements.
"We are looking to empower the call center agents with this capability so they can at least be able to book travel within the destination while on the phone, eliminating the need to transfer the call to another agency," Miller said.
