News : Banking Company Bringing Call Center to Henderson
Dec 17, 2013 -- A British banking provider is bringing a credit card call center to Zappos’ former headquarters in Henderson.
Barclaycard US, owned by Barclays, says it is moving 400 employees next year into Green Valley Corporate Center, an office park off Green Valley Parkway just north of the 215 Beltway.
The company says it will have 700 workers there by December 2015 and 1,000 employees when fully operational.
It is renting about 91,300 square feet in two buildings, 2280 and 2290 Corporate Circle, according to Charles Van Geel, vice president of leasing and sales for landlord American Nevada Company. The Greenspun family, owners of VEGAS INC and the Las Vegas Sun, also owns American Nevada.
Barclaycard, based in Wilmington, Del., is doing tenant improvement work for now but aims to be open for business by February, Van Geel said.
