News : Barclays Opens Children In Need Call Centre
Douglas, Isle of Man, Nov 18, 2016 -- A call centre was opened in Douglas tonight, to take donations for Children In Need.
Barclays has 200 staff volunteering - it's the third year they've hosted it, and last time handled around 5000 calls during the night.
It's a call centre anyway so doesn't need too much adapting.
Lieutenant Governor Sir Richard Gozney opened the centre as the appeal went live, with the volunteers taking calls from all over the UK.
