News : Boldon Contact Centre Creates 56 Jobs After Winning New Energy Work
Boldon, England, Nov 29, 2017 -- A North East contact centre is creating 56 jobs after winning a contract with a energy supplier.
EC Outsourcing has struck a deal with national firm Economy Energy, following a two-year relationship with the Coventry-based energy provided.
The contract was agreed following Economy Energy’s decision to close its offshore site and relocate its services back to the UK.
Boldon’s EC Outsourcing is now bringing 56 new jobs to the region after winning the work, a move which is helping the firm achieve its recently announced growth and acquisition strategy.

Richard Knox, commercial director at EC Outsourcing, said: "We are delighted to be growing our relationship with Economy and are excited to continue to help drive the business forward, as well as doing our bit for the North East region in terms of providing jobs and encouraging other national companies to do business here.

Along with the new jobs being created by EC Outsourcing added to its senior team after appointing Chris Thalha as its head of business development, Aimee Clifton as PR and marketing manager, as well as bringing in a new head of learning development.
