News : Phones 4u Employees Turn to Recruitment Company
Sept 17, 2014 -- More than 100 Phones 4u employees have turned to a recruitment company for support following the mobile retailer's collapse.
Uniting Ambition is running workshops all this week at its UK offices, including its Keele headquarters.
The recruitment provider, founded by former Phones 4u employee Adam Shaw, responded immediately to news the chain had gone into administration by organising the drop-in advice clinics.
Mr Shaw, who spent several years working with Phones 4u founder John Caudwell, said: "It's an incredible shame to lose such a great Staffordshire business. I spent many years at Phones 4u, and since setting up Uniting Ambition have successfully placed hundreds of people in roles across the head office, retail and contact centre functions.
