News : Calgary 311 Centre Celebrates 10 Years Advancing Customer Service Centres
Calgary, AB, Canada, May 21, 2015 -- Ten years and more than 11 million calls have brought the City of Calgary to a customer service milestone.
The 311 Calgary Contact Centre was the first ever 311 service established in Canada in 2005. After 10 years, city officials said it has grown to be more than just a switchboard.
Cindy Pickett, communications director for the city, said not only has 311 done a great deal for helping provide Calgarians with the information they need, but it’s also played a significant role in advancement for customer service in both national and international realms.
