News : Call Center Delays Layoffs
Watertown, NY, USA, March, 2019 -- The first round of layoffs at downtown Watertown's call center will be delayed by a month.
According to a document from the company, Concentrix's plans to lay off 114 employees April 30 has now been pushed back a month to May 31.
The change is because of "the needs of the client."
Concentrix announced two rounds of layoffs affecting half of its 500 person workforce in February due to losing contracts, but said it was working to find new business.
