News : Call Center Donates to Komen Foundation
Waco, TX, USA, Dec 4, 2015 -- C3 Cares, the philanthropic arm of C3/CustomerContactChannels, recently raised $10,000 for the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
C3/CustomerContactChannels, a customer management solutions provider, operates a call center in McGregor. The Susan G. Komen Foundation helps fund breast health services and cancer research.
The company, which has more than 10,000 employees, has raised nearly $200,000 during the past year for more than three dozen charities in cities where the company operates customer contact centers, according to a news release.
"C3 Cares represents the philanthropic values of our company," said Ken Epstein, executive vice president. "With the holidays around the corner, many people get more focused on giving, but our employees are focused on giving every day because it’s an essential part of our corporate culture."
Each center is able to select a specific cause to support and the type of fundraising activities to pursue, as long as it falls into one of the C3 Cares focus areas.
