News : Call Centre Firm Buys Former Belfast Leisure Centre Site for HQ
Belfast, Northern Ireland, March 3, 2016 -- Call centre provider Concentrix has completed its purchase of the former Maysfield Leisure Centre in Belfast ahead of plans to turn it into new European headquarters.
The new base, which is located a short distance away from their current offices, will accommodate up to 1,600 staff.
The company is expected to continue to grow its workforce over the next couple of years.
The new building is the first to be wholly owned by the US business in Belfast.
Concentrix senior vice-president Philip Cassidy said: "We are delighted to have finalised the purchase which will become our new European headquarters as we continue our growth in Belfast and across Europe."

He added the new development would give the area a "new lease of life and create a number of jobs and continue to boost the local economy"
At the time, the firm employed approximately 700 people. Since then, Concentrix has more than doubled that workforce. That is also expected to increase with the company's new base.
