News : Call Centre Firm Teleperformance Creating 800 Jobs in Co Fermanagh
Co Fermanagh, Northern Ireland, Oct 15, 2015 -- Around 800 new jobs are being created in Co Fermanagh. The international customer service firm took over management of the Liberty Insurance contact centre earlier this year in Co Fermanagh, securing the existing 200 jobs at the site.
Just four months ago, Liberty had warned that it would cut 270 jobs across Ireland, 20 of which were in Fermanagh.
The agreement between Teleperformance and Liberty Insurance meant that more than 200 jobs were saved.
Since then, with the help of Invest NI, Teleperformance has announced plans to expand and will carry out work for other contracts at the site.
This week, France's Teleperformance also announced it will open a contact centre in Lithuania creating over 2,000 jobs.
