News : Canon Opens New Call Center, Promises 150 New Jobs
Albuquerque, NM Nov 6, 2014 -- The new Canon Information Technology Services center opened in Albuquerque with the promise of more than 150 new jobs.
The center is one of two call centers nationwide that provide help with using Canon products, such as cameras and printers. The president of Canon USA Inc., Yuichi Ishizuka, said the call center will also service office products such as scanners and printers.
"This new facility demonstrates nothing but a further investment in our company," Ishizuka said at the grand opening. "We like to, and should provide, high-value support to American customers."
The new center has already hired 72 people and recently started a class for 14 new employees.
"This facility is good enough for 1,000 employees in Albuquerque, and we are committed to growth and innovation," he said.
