News : CBSE Launches Anxiety Helpline
Guwahati, India, Feb 3, 2015 -- The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) launched counseling services for Class X and Class XII board examinees from Monday. The board exams will begin from March 2.
The board also launched a central helpline to answer students' queries. Counselors will be available till April 20 to help them overcome exam-related stress.
"We hope the free counseling will help the examinees. We will also help specially-abled children," said Sanjib Das, regional officer of CBSE's Guwahati zone.
He said the board has roped in 72 principals and trained counselors to address anxiety faced by examinees. "The operators will answer queries or, if needed, divert the examinees to counselors," he added.
