News : Charter Communications Adding 100 Employees in Simpsonville
Simpsonville, SC Oct. 29, 2014 -- Charter Communications is looking to expand its Simpsonville call center work force and hire broadband installers and technicians for its offices in Asheville. Applications are being accepted online. Base pay is $11.54 an hour plus commission.
A company statement said "commission is based on meeting sales performance goals." Employees are also eligible for additional monetary incentives and many of them "achieve over the target pay of $40,000 annually," the statement said.
Benefits include medical, 401(k) and tuition reimbursement. Employees also receive free video, Internet and phone services and may be eligible for incentive pay and trips.
Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, previous sales, customer service or call center experience. Employment requirements include a drug test and criminal background check.
Charter is also hiring 20 broadband installers and technicians for their offices in Asheville.
