News : Comcast to Hire 200 Customer Service Employees at Elmhurst Branch
Elmhurst IL, USA, July 31, 2015 -- In an effort to improve customer service, Comcast is hiring about 200 employees at the company's Elmhurst branch to serve customers in the Chicago area, Illinois and other Midwest and Southeast states.
The new hires are set to join 290 existing workforce operations employees, and together, they will work as a part of two new centers that provide technical support and logistics for Comcast customers, according to a company news release.

Both centers are responsible for scheduling, monitoring and supporting technicians in the field, who install and make service visits to customers' homes and businesses, the release stated.
Overall, having new employees will enhance service for Elmhurst residents, as well as residents in other communities in Illinois, Elmhurst Chamber of Commerce and Industry President and CEO John Quigley said in the release.
