News : Commissioners Approve Funding to Build New 911 Call Center
Bolivia, NC, Sept 1, 2014 -- After reassignment and relocation delayed building a new 911 call center, Brunswick County commissioners approved construction contract for the new building.
At the Aug. 18 county meeting, Director of Engineering William Pinnix said it will be a total 12 month building project, starting in mid-October.
"We plan to build in 10 months then get certificate of occupancy, get power and water and sewer," Pinnix said.
"Then turn it over to MTS for two months for electronics."
