Arnold, MO, USA, Jan, 2020 -- Concentrix CVG Corporation, formerly known as Convergys Corp., is set to close part of its facility that employs 205 people, the company said in a notice filed with the state.
The layoff notice, required by the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act, was filed Jan. 15.
Concentrix, a provider of customer and information management services, says it "plans to permanently close one of the client programs" at the Arnold Contact Center at 1900 Meyer Drury Lane on April 4.
The company said employees "who are willing and able to meet the established requirements" will be offered other jobs at the Arnold site.
In 2018, Convergys said it would lay off up to 319 employees when it shut down a client program related to a telecommunications customer at the Arnold call center.
A year earlier, it said it would lay off 175 employees at its offices in the former Village Square Shopping Center in Hazelwood.
