News : Concentrix Takes Over Convergys; to Hold Jobs Fair
Las Cruces, NM, USA, Jan, 2019 -- The former Convergys call center in Las Cruces has been taken over by a company named Concentrix and is seeking to fill more than 100 positions over the next two months.
The acquisition was finalized on Oct. 5, according to Brooke Beiting, senior specialist of communications for Concentrix.
"It is still the great call center company that you know," Beiting said. "We’re looking to be bigger, better and bolder with the next team."

Mariana Lucero-Garcia, site director for the Concentrix contact center in Las Cruces, said the company provides extensive training and support for new employees, with the chance for advancement.
"We are looking for highly motivated individuals to provide customer support via chat, voice and other digital channels," she said. "Potential employees must be customer-centric with strong communication skills and genuine willingness to learn."
"A customer service job at Convergys can serve as a great stepping stone to many career opportunities in a major global organization." Lucero-Garcia said. "In fact, more than 79 percent of Convergys’ customer service managers are promoted from within our company."
