News : Conduit Global Hiring 200 Customer-service Reps
San Antonio, TX, Sept 8, 2014 -- Conduit Global is working to double it San Antonio workforce from 200 to 400 jobs in the next two weeks to provide customer call center service on behalf of a key client.
Conduit Global notified the Texas Workforce Commission in July that it had to cut 225 customer service jobs from its payroll by Aug. 31 due to an unexpected service cancellation by one of its clients.
Now, because of a ramp-up in retail activity from an undisclosed telecommunications company client, Conduit Global needs to hire 200 individuals with previous customer-service experience to support Internet-based "Live Chat" services, Conduit Global’s Chief People Officer Kevin Gaugush said in a release.
"Most people are now more than comfortable with Instant Messaging as a way to connect with their friends, so it’s natural that they want to do the same with major brands. But they want to feel there’s a person at the other end, not just a faceless corporation," Gaugush said.
The company will host a job fair at its office at 6010 Exchange Parkway near the Loop 410 and Bandera Road intersection. Applicants can post their resumes online on the company’s career site. Kbg USA Inc., which does business as Conduit Global.
