News : Springleaf Holdings Seeks 200 for Bilingual Tempe Call Center
Dec 3, 2014 -- Tempe snagged another consumer finance call center with the announcement that Springleaf Holdings Inc. (NYSE:LEAF), a nationwide consumer finance lender, will open an operations center early next year, creating 200 jobs.
Springleaf's Tempe Central Operations Center opens in the Baseline Corporate Center at Baseline Road and Interstate 10 in February.
This new facility will create more than 200 jobs, with a special emphasis on opportunities for bilingual worker opportunities. Based in Evansville, Indiana, Springleaf also has a service center in Flagstaff.

Springleaf joins a growing list of companies taking advantage of the Arizona workforce to provide direct service to western and mountain region customers. Similar to the Vanguard facility in Scottsdale, Springleaf's Tempe operations center will be equipped to provide backup operations for the company's other service centers.
