Woodland Hills, CA, USA, March 3, 2015 -- Convergent Revenue Cycle Management, Inc., a provider of healthcare revenue cycle management and patient access solutions to hospitals across the nation, has announced that James Hawkins has joined the company as Senior Vice President, Patient Contact Center. Drawing from his more than 25 years of industry experience, Hawkins now oversees the operations of the Convergent healthcare division’s self-pay collections, customer service and PatientQuest™ patient access solutions.

Prior to joining Convergent, Hawkins was National Director of Hospital Operations with Conifer Health Solutions, where he facilitated a high rate of business expansion and increased revenue back to client hospitals’ bottom lines. He was also instrumental in increasing patient satisfaction, minimizing denials through a clean claims process, and strengthening client hospitals’ positions within the communities they serve. Hawkins’ experience also includes leading as COO for a major receivables recovery firm. A Texas resident, Hawkins is active in the community, having served in several leadership roles for the local district of the Boy Scouts of America, as well as a board member for Bea’s Kids and the Next Step shelter which assist underprivileged children and families.
