Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute (Moffitt Cancer Center) in Tampa, Florida. Moffitt Cancer Center is a Siemens Soarian(R) customer. The program is designed to streamline the patient pre-arrival process to handle increased patient volumes, improve financial reimbursement to the provider, reduce insurance denials associated with patient access issues, and enhance the overall patient experience. As a Siemens Medical Solutions business partner, Convergent’s patient access representatives will use the latest patient-focused contact center technology to directly communicate and provide customer service to Moffitt’s patients regarding financial clearance, accurate collection of demographic information and insurance benefits verification, in addition to ensuring pre-certification and referral information has been obtained. The alliance between Siemens and Convergent offers Siemens customers a turn-key solution to the patient access challenges they are experiencing through enhanced patient communications with Convergent’s PatientQuest and leveraging Siemens solutions and expertise.
