A Petty Officer in the Navy Reserve and employee at the Convergys Arnold, Missouri contact center, nominated Convergys for outstanding support and accommodation of employees who also serve in the U.S. military. Convergys has ensured that it maintains employment positions for its reservist employees upon return from active duty deployments, providing flexibility for them and their families. The Company also actively hires military veterans, reservists and military spouses.

The award was presented by the Office of Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), which is a U.S. Department of Defense program that develops and promotes supportive work environments for Service members in the Reserve Components through outreach, recognition, and educational opportunities that increase awareness of applicable laws, and resolves employment conflicts between the Service members and their employers. ESGR has served our country for more than 40 years, fostering a culture in which all employers support and value the employment and military service of members of the National Guard and Reserve in the United States.
