News : Convergys Valdosta to Hold Job Fair

Valdosta, GA February 3, 2016 -- Convergys Corporation (NYSE: CVG), a global provider in customer management, is hiring immediately at its contact center in Valdosta, GA for Sales and Service Associates. The company is seeking to fill a total of 160 positions in the next two months – positions that offer competitive pay and benefits, along with career growth opportunities.

Convergys provides extensive training and support to help ensure success for new employees. In addition, the company offers additional training opportunities to help support meaningful career growth within the organization.

"We are looking for highly motivated individuals to provide direct support to customers over the phone. Potential employees must have strong customer service, communication and computer skills. In addition, we look for people who genuinely want to help others solve important issues," said Brent Rogers, site director for the Convergys’ contact center in Valdosta. "A customer service job at Convergys can serve as a great stepping stone to a career in operations management, recruitment, or training. In fact, more than 70 percent of Convergys’ customer service managers are promoted from within our company."
