News : County to Host Comcast Job Recruitments
Dec 31, 2014 -- Comcast recruiters will visit Fulton County’s North Fulton Career Center and the Adamsville Career Center to take applications for Rep I telesales positions.
The North Fulton Career Center is located at 7741 Roswell Road in Sandy Springs and the Adamsville Career Center is located in the Adamsville Regional Health Center located at 3700 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in southwest Atlanta. Business attire is required with no jeans, T-shirts or sneakers allowed.
Applicants who obtain employment will be expected to call existing customers to sell various Comcast products and services. Sales representatives must provide the following services while carrying out other responsibilities as assigned. Those responsibilities include:
o Making outbound calls to existing customers to sell xfinity Internet, xfinity voice and xfinity video
o Qualifying and following up with sales leads
o Keeping up-to-date on industry knowledge as well as the competitive posture of the company
o Maintaining a thorough knowledge of company products/services
o Informing customers of new services available
o Demonstrating strong influencing skills with customers
Required qualifications include but are not limited to the following:
o High school diploma or equivalent
o At least one year of sales experience, which may include telesales, work in an outbound call center or previous work in a field sales position
o Ability to sell complex products and/or services
o Possess an understanding of the business, services offered and/or products sold
o Ability to work extra hours as needed
o Ability to use Microsoft Office and multiple programs at once
