News : CPF Board Extends Operating Hours of Service and Call Centres
Singapore, Dec 4, 2015 -- The Central Provident Fund (CPF) Board will further extend the operating hours of its service and call centres from Monday (Dec 7) as some services on its website remained unavailable.
The five service centres at Bishan, Jurong, Robinson Road, Tampines and Woodlands will extend their queue issuance timing from 5pm to 6pm on weekdays, while the call centre's operating hours will run till 7pm on weekdays.
In a press release issued on Friday (Dec 4), the CPF Board also apologised for the problem. Online services have been down since Nov 30 after technical issues were uncovered due to a recent website upgrade.
But some online services have since been restored.

Since Wednesday (Dec 2), selected e-services catering to online transactions have been made available to members. Members can check and print their account balances, contribution history and transaction history. Website information pages and the e-submission service for employers were also functioning normally.
"We are working round the clock with our IT vendor, Microsoft, to restore the rest of the e-services as soon as possible," said the press release.
The CPF Board warned that some members may experience slowness or may be unable to login because the site was seeing more than twice the daily volume of logins.
It advises members to log in after 10pm for non-urgent queries.
