Tysons, VA, USA, Jan 26, 2017 -- CSC (NYSE: CSC), a global provider in IT services and solutions, announced that it has been recognized as a "Leader" by Everest Group in the report "Hosted Private Cloud Service – Market Update and PEAK Matrix™ Assessment: Protectionist Sentiments Spur Growth."
Developed by Everest Group, a global consulting and research firm, the PEAK (Performance, Experience, Ability, Knowledge) Matrix is a framework that assesses the relative market success and overall capability of service providers in various industries. This particular PEAK Matrix evaluated 16 IT service providers offering hosted private cloud platforms, and assessed their capabilities based on scale of operation, relative focus and domain investments.

The Everest Group report highlights CSC’s strengths as having a mature and standardized platform, as well as security services, partnerships and alliances. Based on Everest Group’s analysis, CSC moved from the "Major Contender" position in 2015 to the highest designation of "Leader" in 2016.
