News : CSC Positioned as Insurance ‘Market Leader’ in Ovum Decision Matrix
Falls Church, Va., February, 2016 -- CSC (NYSE: CSC), a provider of technology solutions and services, announced it has been positioned as a "Market Leader" in the Ovum Decision Matrix: Selecting an IT Service Provider for the Insurance Sector, 2015-2016.
The report published on 8 January 2016 evaluated a total of nine IT service providers based on technology, execution and market impact. Aggregate scores across these criteria determined vendor placement as a "leader," "challenger" or "follower." CSC was among three of the nine vendors named a market leader.
"CSC has a clear service roadmap for the insurance sector, with a strong emphasis on integration with and efficient management of cloud infrastructure, leveraging the CSC Agility Platform™," said Charles Juniper, principal analyst, financial services technology, at Ovum. "CSC should be considered as a service provider by all potential insurance clients, particularly the largest global players."
