News : Customer Service as Simple as ABC for Cathy Hunt
July 21, 2014 -- The ABC Shop has been awarded the Roy Morgan Australian Customer Satisfaction Retailer of the year for 2014.
The winners were announced on Tuesday morning at the eftpos ARA Australian Retail Awards in Melbourne.
Roy Morgan Research collects customer satisfaction ratings from ongoing Single Source surveys in Australia, New Zealand & Indonesia.
This data is used to determine the monthly and annual winners of the Roy Morgan Customer Satisfaction Awards.
"It is gratifying to know that our customers have recognised ABC Shop as a trusted brand providing a holistic customer experience, where the acronym ABC in our vision for our team literally stands for Always Be Customer-focused," Head of ABC Retail Regina Hoekstra said.
"Since taking on my role as Head of ABC Retail, we identified a need to refocus our customer proposition - our customers are not only those highly engaged with the ABC TV or Radio, but ABC Shop represents for the majority the only tangible touch point for ABC audiences.
Locally, ABC Store manager at Settlement City, Cathy Hunt, says the customers are a major inspiration each and every day.
"I am thrilled that for our customers we represent a positive and memorable retailing experience, and to have this recognised today by Roy Morgan and the ARA, I am very proud and appreciative of this award," Mrs Hunt said.
