News : Dan and Linda Kiely Honoured with ‘Outstanding Achievement in Business Award’
Cork, Ireland, Nov 21, 2017 -- Cork Chamber presented the ‘Outstanding Achievement in Business Award’ 2017 to Dan and Linda Kiely, co-founders of the business excellence outsourcing firm Voxpro, at the Chamber’s 7th annual Dublin dinner held this evening in association with EY.
Bill O’Connell, President of Cork Chamber said of the award: "Voxpro are long-standing members of Cork Chamber and also previous recipients of the Cork Company of the Year Award. Dan and Linda are deserving of this award not just for their many business achievements but also because they are fantastic ambassadors for Ireland and the Cork region in particular."
Speaking tonight from the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road, Dan Kiely said: "It is an incredible honour for Linda and I to accept Cork Chamber’s Outstanding Achievement in Business Award – and join such an esteemed group of recipients. We started Voxpro in our home city of Cork and our headquarters have remained in Cork for more than two decades, so you can imagine how much this accolade from our own business community means to us today. We set out with a big dream to redefine our industry and to work in partnership with the most innovative and disruptive companies in the world – and to mirror that same innovation and disruption ourselves. We’ve always been relentless in what we do and a big part of our success has been a result of our agility and always having the mindset of a small company."
Linda Kiely added, "We hope that our story inspires others and is proof that Cork and Irish companies truly can have global ambitions and impact, and that this great city and country has everything they need to realise those dreams. I also want to thank our wonderful Voxpro team – Dan and I are continuously proud and amazed at the extraordinary work that the Voxpro team achieves every day. We are looking forward to continuing the Voxpro journey with our new friends at TI and of course, our wonderful partners who are changing the world."
John Higgins, Partner of EY and sponsor of the event, added: "I would like to congratulate both Dan and Linda who are very worthy recipients of this prestigious award. EY have partnered with Cork Chamber on the Dublin Dinner for several years and at its core the dinner is about strengthening connections between the Dublin and Cork business communities as we work towards the common goal of protecting the future growth and prosperity of the Irish economy. With their offices in both Dublin and Cork, Voxpro are leveraging the combined strengths of both city regions and showcasing Ireland as a viable home for global companies."
