News : Davenport’s AT&T Call Center Adding 40 New Jobs
Davenport, IA, USA, Feb 23, 2016 -- The AT&T Call Center is looking to add 40 customer service representatives in Davenport.
All of the openings are full-time jobs with benefits.
Pay ranges from $10.98-$16.09 per hour, depending on experience and education.
"We want folks that can connect with our customers and really make a great impression," said Quality Manager Mike Kelly.
"We're not necessarily looking for folks that know how to work their cell phones perfectly or know how to troubleshoot. Those are things we can teach."
Workers enjoy a casual, diverse atmosphere in the call center.
Contests and incentives can lead to bonuses.
The Quad Cities Largest Career Fair will give folks the chance to apply here and with dozens of other employers.
"Be yourself," Kelly advises. "Be prepared to talk about yourself. Get a lot of information. Figure out what it is that speaks to you in terms of what career you're looking for."
